Goldman Sachs liquidates XRP and Solana ETF holdings in Q1 2026, coinciding with $1Bn in Bitcoin ETF outflows over 48 hours.
Bitcoin ETFs recorded nearly $1Bn in outflows over the past 48 hours, pushing total outflows since May 16 to just under $1Bn. The sell-off coincides with Goldman Sachs fully exiting its XRP and Solana ETF positions in Q1 2026, as revealed in its latest 13F filing.
BTC fell from $82,000 to around $77,000 since last Friday, while the broader crypto market cap dropped over $100Bn to $2.65 trillion. XRP and Solana also declined, trading at $1.38 and $85, respectively, amid broader macro uncertainty.
The outflows reflect institutional caution, though the immediate market reaction has been limited to price declines without significant volatility spikes.
