Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (NASDAQ:FFAI) announced a $25 million financing round, bringing total capital raised in the past two months to $70 million. The funds follow a $45 million raise in April and will support the company’s pivot to robotics and AI technologies.

The company is repositioning as a “Physical AI ecosystem company,” with plans to expand into humanoid robots, bionic systems, and automotive robotics. Faraday Future aims to become one of North America’s top three robotics firms by deployment volume within five years and has raised its 2026 robot shipment target to 1,500 units, up from 1,000. Pricing for its robots will start at $10,000.

Proceeds will finance Phase 1 of its robotics strategy through 2026, targeting sectors like education, security, and research. The company also aims for positive operating cash flow by Q4 2027 and seeks to restore its market valuation to 2021 levels.
