Brent crude gains 6% weekly amid US-Iran tensions
President Donald Trump stated his patience with Iran is running out, contributing to a 6% weekly gain in Brent crude.
The US president’s comments come as Iran reported 30 vessels had recently cleared the Strait of Hormuz.
The Trump-Xi meeting in Beijing had been expected to produce some positive news on the Hormuz situation, but so far, no such news has emerged.
