EDT Stephen I. Miran submitted his resignation Thursday as a member of the Federal Reserve Board, effective when or shortly before his successor on the Board is sworn in. He has been a member of the Board since September 16, 2025, when he took office to fill an unexpired term ending January 31, 2026.
Prior to his appointment to the Board, Dr. Miran served as chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers under President Donald J. Trump.
