Financial terms of the share-swap transaction were not revealed

The deal adds Safe Harvest to a brand portfolio that already includes Wingreens Farms and Raw Pressery. In a statement today (11 May), Wingreens described the move as a “transformative milestone”, saying it creates an integrated “farm-to-consumer” platform. The deal “further strengthens the group’s presence in the rapidly growing clean-label and pesticide-free foods category”, the statement added.

Just Food has approached the company for additional details. Safe Harvest works with over 100,000 farmers, largely women, organised through self help groups (SHGs) and farmer producer organisations (FPOs). The brand is known for its batch-wise pesticide testing system across a wide range of products including cereals, grains, millets, spices and natural sweeteners.
