The USD strengthened against major currency pairs early in the trading week, though EURUSD and GBPUSD recovered from session lows. Buyers stepped in near the 100-hour moving average at 1.17455, stabilizing the pair after an initial gap lower during the Asian-Pacific session.

EURUSD tested resistance between 1.1784 and 1.1795, with a break above potentially targeting 1.1823–1.1836. Meanwhile, USDJPY climbed above its 100-hour moving average at 156.81 but remained below stronger resistance near 157.36, including the 200-hour and 100-day moving averages.

Support for USDJPY came from higher US yields and crude oil prices, though a drop below 156.81 could shift focus to 156.50 and lower levels.
