Airtel Africa reported a profit after tax of $813M for the fiscal year, more than doubling from $328M in the prior period. Earnings per share rose to 18.6 cents from 6.0 cents.
Revenue climbed 29.5% to $6,415M, supported by a 21.3% year-on-year increase in Airtel Money customers, reaching 54.1M. The company cited scaling and deeper engagement in its mobile financial services as key growth drivers.
The results reflect strong demand across Africa, with subscriber expansion contributing to higher average revenue per user.
