Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko stated that the biggest risk currently lies in the possibility that post-quantum cryptography (PQC) signature schemes could be cracked by AI. He pointed out that the industry not only lacks a full understanding of the potential mathematical vulnerabilities of these schemes, but also the hidden dangers in practical deployment are unclear.

He suggested providing 2/3 multi-signature wallet support for these schemes, or providing native support through Program Derived Addresses (PDAs) in transaction processors. — link
